Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) actuators utilize a wire of a particular alloy of high strength corrosion resistant Nitinol material that contracts a specific amount when heated, and requires much less energy than alternative methods. This shape memory effect allows SMA actuators to deliver reliable motion control using compact, lightweight smart materials.

DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Design and development of shape memory alloy (SMA) wire assemblies and actuators, incorporating Autosplice’s patented crimp technology. Our engineering team specializes in developing innovative shape memory alloy actuators for precision motion applications, where conventional actuators fall short.
PROTOTYPING
Prototyping of SMA wire assemblies and actuators, by actual tooling or by a combination of actual tooling and 3D printing. Our rapid prototyping methods accelerate SMA actuation concept validation, making it ideal for fast-moving development cycles.
PERFORMANCE TESTING
Life cycle and performance testing of SMA wire assemblies and actuators, including setting up of test protocols, and design and fabrication of test fixtures. Our testing process verifies reliability under real-world conditions, ensuring each actuator meets rigorous durability and performance standards.
